About

I have been an all-things-Disney fan for… well… pretty much my whole life.  I have very fond memories of growing up watching the animated classics, and seeing most of the films released during my lifetime in the movie theatre.  As a child, these films were mostly entertainment.  But, in true Disney fashion, there was always a life and/or moral lesson thrown in for good measure.  While the vast majority of the credit for who I am today goes to my parents, Disney animated films did have at least a small part in helping to guide me toward good decision making and other positive values I carry with me today.

There are more lessons that Disney has to teach me, however.  As I go back and watch the films I loved so much as a child, I discover new meanings I was too young to understand previously.  Many of these teachings are centered around the subject of leadership, a topic in which  I have recently become very interested.  I wanted to find a place to record these lessons, both for myself and in the hopes that others may benefit from them as well.

  1. Hey Jonathan, I don’t know if you know this, but last year I did a project on my blog called Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Animation Edition. It was basically a 12-point multiple question game show that I made along the format of the popular WWTBAM game show only with all the questions being animation-related (be it facts about animated films, studios, people in the industry, etc.). I had 10 contestants play the game with the hopes that one of them would win by getting to the million point question and the winner received a gift card from me as the prize. Now, I’m planning on doing a 2nd season to that show starting later this year around late Aug/early Sept and lasting probably until November/December time and I’m looking for contestants. I’d love to have you on as one if you’re interested and have a webcam/mic (as the games are recorded via Google Hangouts). Please let me know whether or not you’re interested asap as I only have 10 spots to fill and the first 10 people to get back to me will be the ones I’ll have on the show. Lemme know if you have any questions! Looking forward to hearing your response, thanks 🙂 !

I read your post about the game, and it sounds like fun, but I’m not sure I know enough to be good at it. LOL. I know plots/characters/songs of most Disney films, but my non-Disney and behind-the-scenes knowledge is pretty limited.

Ok. I’ve never used that. Do I need to download anything in preparation? You can email me any details to jonathan.pouliot@hotmail.com.

      7. No, I don’t think you need to download anything. I’ll send you a link to the show on Hangouts when we’re doing it via email and you should be able to load it from there.
